MEDMO was founded in 2024 by Lithuanian-born, London-based designer and creative director Meda Mosiejute, a graduate of Ravensbourne University. Launched from her home studio in East London, the namesake label emerged through an instinctive desire to merge personal heritage, subculture, and world-building into a distinct, slightly off-centre visual world.

Within her collections, MEDMO reinterprets familiar garments through the friction of her dual reality—splicing the nostalgic, hand-spun textures of traditional Lithuanian folk dress and post-Soviet clothing with the raw, gritty rhythm of an East London upbringing. This approach transforms memory into a structural, wearable reality, featuring  3D Bow appliqués, oversized denim covered in intricate floral lace, and asymmetrical pleated skirts. Each artisanal piece is designed, patterned, and hand-crafted entirely by Meda, ensuring experimentation sits at the core of the construction process.

At the heart of the brand’s philosophy lies a focus on identity and belonging, welcoming individuals who see fashion as a form of personal exploration. The aim is to offer wearers an opportunity to step into clothing that functions as a character within a larger narrative, reconnecting with a sense of childlike curiosity and a nostalgia for times of absolute creative freedom.

Alongside her direct-to-consumer studio drops, Meda has been expanding the brand’s universe through independent fashion films, experimental editorials, and immersive community pop-ups. Moving seamlessly between her London workshop and international presentations, MEDMO continues to build an independent, emotionally resonant world with showroom experiences spanning from London to Paris.
